Review: Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Perfect Fit W24

Hi guys! Today I have a BB cream review for you guys. It's from the Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream line. I got the Perfect Fit in shade W24 Honey Beige.

This is how the product looks like when I got this out of the package.

This is the ingredients list of the product.

And yeah, the box is kinda crushed, but the product itself is still good.

The product itself is still good and it has the usual Etude House packaging, like other Etude House Precious Mineral BB Creams.

And, it has a pump, which is one of the reasons why I got this product. It makes squeezing the product out of the tube so convenient.

SWATCH

This is the swatch of the product on my hand. The texture of the product is quite thick and not runny.
This product has a good smell, I think it smells like flowers.

I think this shade is a little bit to light for me. And this is the darkest shade that I could buy from this BB Cream.

This is the swatch of the product on my right side of my face.
The coverage was light for me. My big red spots are still visible, but it covered some of the small red spots. But the coverage is still buildable, although it didn't make much of a difference.

In the photo shown above, this BB cream seems like the right shade for me. However, in real life, it is a little bit too light for me. For some people, this may be a small problem. But for me, I like my BB cream or foundation to match my skin tone perfectly.

This my face with the BB cream on. It has a dewy finish, but my skin still feels not oily. I think this BB cream is suitable for normal skin, although I have an oily skin.

I wore it all day and at the end of the day, my skin feels like my skin and it seemed like the BB cream wore off. However, it is still long lasting for me, because I easily sweat and get oily.

So, here are the pros and the cons of this product.

Pros
  • affordable (got it for IDR 158.000)
  • packaging is simple and convenient and it has a pump, which is always a plus
  • comes with a lot of product
  • long lasting
  • dewy finish
  • light to medium coverage
Cons
  • the shade is too light for me
  • only 3 shades to choose from
Rate: 4/5

Will I repurchase?
I don't think so. I would like to try other BB creams as well

Hope this review helps! See you guys in future posts!

Review: Nivea Lip Butter in Vanilla Macadamia & Raspberry Rose

Hi guys! Today I have a lip balm review for you guys. It is the Nivea Lip Butter in Raspberry Rose and Vanilla Macadamia. I bought them few weeks ago at Guardian and it was on sale: Buy One Get One! It was a really good deal for me. I guess they were trying to get rid of them.

Here is the visual look of the product

The packaging is straight to the point. I like this kind of packaging better, although I prefer my lip balm in a tube form.

Vanilla & Macadamia

This lip butter has a vanilla scent, which is obvious. It is really creamy and moisturizing. I always have this one by my bed and put it on my lips every night.

I managed to take a photo of the smoothness before touching it with my finger.

Raspberry Rose

This one has a really sweet scent. Honestly, I didn't want to pick this one because I've other reviews that said that this one smelled sweet. By sweet, I thought it was unbearable because I normally don't like sweet scents. But, when I opened it up and smelled it, I literally fell in love with it. It smells like chewing gum that I used to buy and it smells AMAZING. I was really thankful that I got this one.

This lipbalm it very creamy as well and I always put this one on my dresser or bring it with me when I hang out.

I also took a picture of this lip balm before I touched it. However, it didn't look as smooth as the vanilla one. I didn't mind though.

Finally, this is the swatch of the lip balm on the back of my hand.

They're both transparent, just like how I wanted them to be.
I also find that my lips don't feel chapped and dry even when I don't apply this lip balm. That is a huge plus for me, because I tend to forget to apply some lip balm on my lips.

So, here are the pros and cons

Pros
  • VERY moisturizing
  • transparent (some may hate it)
  • amazing scent
  • it was a really good deal when I bought them (IDR 35.000 for 2 jars)
  • my lips still feel moisturized even without wearing it
Cons
  • NONE

Rate : 5/5

Will I repurchase?
Of course! Although I'm pretty sure these 2 jars will last a really long time.

Hope this review helps! See you guys in future posts!

Review : Etude House Blink Blink Eye Stick 08 Ivory Baby Star

Hey again to you guys. Today, I have an eyeshadow stick review. It is from Etude House Bling Bling Eye Stick. Mine is in number 8 Ivory Baby Star. They do have quite some pretty colours to choose from.

I bought this 2 years ago for about IDR 40.000. It was really really cheap for an eyeshadow stick that is as beautiful as this.

These are the promotional pictures that Etude House released about 2 years ago.

They are all so gorgeous. Now that I'm looking at the colours again, I wished I had got more colours from this line.

Okay, onto the review.

I'm so sorry if all of the products that I'm reviewing isn't new. I've been using this product ever since I got it and I really really like it.

This is what my product looks like. I tried my best to get the best shot. But, oh well, I'm not that pro either.

This is how much product I have left. And this product sure goes a really long way. I still have this much after using this for 2 years.

The colour is so so gorgeous and I really want to try the other colours as well.

This is the swatch of the product on the back of my hand.

The product glided on very smoothly and creamy. I really like the texture of the product. Because of its creaminess, this product doesn't leave any fallouts. That's why I don't really like to use powdery glitter shadows.

It isn't that pigmented on first and third swipe. However, it got really pigmented at 5 swipes. I could get used to this. Haha.

On the tenth swipe, I reached its full opacity, though I didn't really see much of a difference with the fifth swipe. I think five swipes is enough for me.

This is the product after I rubbed it hard once. Honestly, I wouldn't rub my hands that hard, especially if I were to rub my eyes that hard. However, I don't think this product is very much smudgeproof. I don't really mind this part though.

And this is the product under running water. I did a mistake here by rubbing my hands first before running my hand under water. That's why I'm showing this picture later. This product is waterproof, only if I don't rub it after that obviously.

bonus picture from recent application for better view of the product

This is me wearing the product on my inner corners. It doesn't show up that well on camera and it looks more natural. In real life, it looks really pretty. I really really love this product. I always wear this product whenever I wear eyeliner. AND, it lasted all day for me.

In the promotional picture, the model put the eyeshadow on top of her upper eyelid. I never use this product for that, though. I always use this product on my inner corners and it brightens up my eyes really well, although I don't have any eyebags.

So, here are the pros and cons of this product :

Pros
  • really cheap for a good quality product (IDR 40.000)
  • waterproof
  • the colour is VERY pretty
  • lasted all day
  • brightens up my eyes really well
Cons
  • not that smudgeproof
Yep, I think that is the only con to this product, and I don't really mind that.

Rate : 5/5
Although it is not that smudgeproof, I still really love this product.

Will I repurchase?
Of course I will if I have the chance to. I would really love to try other colours as well. They all look very pretty!

Thanks for reading this. Hope you enjoy this post and see you guys in future reviews!

Review : Etude House Tear Eye Line #3 Pearl Tear

Hi guys! Today I have an eyeshadow review for you guys. It is from Etude House and the name of the product is Tear Eye Line The one that I'm going to be reviewing today is in number 3 Pearl Tear.

You guys must have been familiar with the product, since it has been out for about 3 or more years now. I also have had this for about 2 years now, but I don't use it that much. I got it for about 60.000 rupiahs from an online shop.

This is the picture of the product.

Close-up shot of the product :

This is the kind of product that you use on your tear duct to give an "innocent" look that is popular in Korea. Many girl idols wear this kind of product on their tear ducts and it always looks great on them.

This is one of the example that I searched on google
source : koreaboo
(I seriously like Minah's eyes though >< thinking of remaking her look)

Anyways, back with the review. This is the brush applicator brush. It is kinda stiff and it picks up the product very well.

This is the swatch of the product.

First of all, you can see that the colour of the product is pink, unlike in the packaging where it looks white.

Second, this product is NOT waterproof at all. I rubbed the eyeshadow lightly and it literally smeared.

And, this is the swatch of the product on my eyes.

The application was a bit hard. The brush does pick up the product easily, but it doesn't apply very well. I could barely apply the product on my eyes evenly.

It lasted all day for me. BUT, I had to restrain myself from rubbing my eyes. It is not really a friendly product if I get something in my eye.

So, here are the pros and cons of this product :

Pros
  • The pink colour is very cute for those who like pink
  • My eyes looked brighter
  • Goes well with my eyeliner
  • It was pretty cheap (about IDR 60.000)
Cons
  • Not waterproof
  • Not smudgeproof
  • The application was a bit hard
Rate : 2/5
Unfortunately, I didn't really like the product because the application was really messy and it's not smudgeproof at all.

Will I repurchase? Nope. I'd like to try other products from Etude House that has better quality.

I hope you guys find this review helpful. Thank you for reading and see you guys in future reviews!

Review : Etude House Drawing Show Creamy Liner BR401

Hi guys! Today, I have an eyeliner review for you guys! It is the Etude House Drawing Show Creamy Liner in BR401. I have been using this eyeliner for almost 2 years now and it's still usable until now. This is the eyeliner itself.
I bought this for about IDR 100.000. It was a pretty good deal.

This is how much product I'm left with after using this for years.

The eyeliner comes with a small brush.
The brush is pretty good in terms of quality. It is stiff and precise to create lines.
You can put the lid to extend the brush for better grip. It's really efficient. I always use this brush to apply the eyeliner.

Here is the swatch of the eyeliner. I bought this eyeliner in brown because when I bought this, I have a black eyeliner. It is also said that brown looks natural. I was aiming for the natural look. However, now that I see the colour, I wish I had got the black one instead.

The colour is indeed brown up close. But when I see my face in the mirror, it looks like black. That's why I wish I had got the black one instead.

The eyeliner's quality is good though. I just wish I got the black one. Maybe when this one runs out? Hehe

This is the waterproof and smudgeproof test. As you can see, it doesn't wear off under running water.

After that, I used my pointer finger to rub the eyeliner, HARD. Let's be honest, you won't rub your eyes that hard, especially when you know that you're wearing eyeliner. I was really impressed when I tested the eyeliner.

And here is me wearing the eyeliner. My eyes look bigger and the brush really did affect the application.

You can see from the photo that the eyeliner looks like blackish brown.

So, here are the pros and cons :

Pros
  • Easy to apply
  • Cheap but good quality
  • Waterproof
  • Smudgeproof
  • Long lasting
  • A little goes a long way
Cons
  • None. I really can't think of any cons

Rating : 5/5

Will I repurcahse? Of course! I would love to buy this again after I run out of this eyeliner. The black one, of course.

Hope this review helps. Thanks for reading!

Review : Skinfood Nail Vita PK205 Peach Pink

Hi guys! Today I have another nail polish review and swatch for you guys. It is the Skinfood Nail Vita in PK205 Peach Pink. Here is the product itself.

The packaging is very simple and ordinary. Nothing special about the product itself.

Here is the swatch with one coat. It dries glossy and it looked like I didn't need to use top coat.

Here is the swatch with two coats and without top coat. It still looks shiny. With two coats, the colour did get more opaque.
The colour itself is not just a plain peach pink. It has got some tiny golden sparkles in it. However, it doesn't look that noticeable.

So, here are the pros and cons of this nail polish :

      Pros
  • It was quite cheap. I got it for about IDR 25.000 per bottle.
  • It can get opaque in two coats
  • Dries glossy and shiny
  • Dries quite fast
  • You don't really need a top coat to make it shiny
  • It was the perfect shade that I was looking for
     Cons
  • Two coats may not be enough for people who want full pigmentation of the nail polish

Rate : 4/5
minus one point because it isn't that pigmented to get opaque in one coat.

Hope this review helps!
