Review: Peripera Ink Airy Stick in #8 Warmy Red

Hi guys! Today’s review is going to be about Peripera’s lipstick. The product is called Ink Airy Stick and I got mine in number 8 Warmy Red.
Here is how the product came in. They have this plastic packaging as their secondary packaging. It looks really cute but simple at the same time.

There are some information on the product.
Here is how the actual product looks like. It comes in with a matte and the color of the lipstick is very similar to the lipstick bullet. I really love this packaging. It looks really sleek and elegant, but still cute at the same time.

This is how the actual product looks like. See how similar the bullet is with the packaging? I was quite amazed myself.
I really love the packaging on this, it closes with a click and ensure the safety of the product inside your bags.
Here is how it swatches on the hand. I got this color because it looked really unique on the promo pics, and it definitely is. I don’t have other colors like this in my collection.

The product itself swatches really smooth, but it is quite drying and if you apply only a little, it doesn’t feel like anything but can be quite drying at the same time.

Here is how the product looks by itself on my lips. My natural lip color is quite dark, but the lipstick definitely covered up the dark parts of my lips, although it doesn’t look even.
The longer you apply the product, the more it doesn’t feel like anything.
Like usual lipsticks, it doesn’t wear that long but it definitely stains the lips.

I don’t really like how it looks like on its own. I think with my lip color, I always need to put on a lip tint underneath to mask the dark color of my lips.
Below is a swatch of the product, combined with my Etude House Dear Darling Tint in #RD305. That lip tint has been a holy grail lip tint for me, it looks really natural on me and goes well with a lot of other products.

For me, it looks much better combined with my Etude House Dear Darling lip tint, and it also adds up the longevity of course.
The color is red with a hint of orange in it. It is more red than orange. I love this combination, but I also like to apply just a little bit to give my lips a hint of color during days where I don’t feel like wearing any make up.

To summarize, here are the pros and cons of the product:

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
  • Beautiful color
  • Looks matte
  • Stains the lips, wearability is acceptable considering this is a lipstick
Cons
  • Can be quite drying
Rate: 4/5
If the lipstick is not as drying, I would have rated it a 5 out of 5!

Will I repurchase? Hm, I don’t think so.
While I really want to try out their other colors, I think Peripera has since come out with other products and I would like to try them out, definitely the ones that are not as drying as this formula.
But overall, it’s a really nice product and feels nice to hold onto.

Hope this review helped! Thanks for reading.
